About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager with a background in commercial cleaning or facilities services to help oversee service delivery across multiple contracts and sites. Working closely with the Managing Director and Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring operational standards remain high, teams are well supported and clients continue to receive the reliable service the business is known for.
You’ll support Contract Managers and Cleaning Supervisors across a portfolio of sites, ensuring teams are coordinated effectively, issues are resolved quickly and contracts are delivered on time, on budget and to business standards.
This full-time role would suit an experienced Contract Manager or Area Manager looking to step into a broader leadership position, with the opportunity to further develop your operational management career.

Duties
Operational Support
Oversee day-to-day operations across all contracts and sites, ensuring jobs are delivered on time, on budget and to company standards.
Support the Operations Manager in managing Contract Managers and Cleaning Supervisors to maintain consistent service delivery.
Handle operational issues and implement timely solutions.
Monitor and track performance metrics to ensure operational excellence.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor and support the Contract Managers and Cleaning Supervisors to achieve team goals.
Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager to set KPIs, conduct team performance reviews and support team development.
Ensure proper onboarding and training of service delivery staff.
Foster a positive and high performing team culture.
Client Management
Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients to ensure long term retention and satisfaction.
Oversee response times to client requests and complaints, stepping in for major client issues when required.
Ensure contracts are delivered to agreed standards and expectations.
Performance & Reporting
Track and report key metrics including service quality, response times and staff performance.
Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
Support business growth by recommending and implementing process improvement.
Ensure performance management forms and reporting are completed
Systems & Process Improvement
Drive the use of systems (Salesforce, Monday.com, etc.) to improve workflows, accountability and reporting.
Implement process improvements that support operational consistency as the business grows.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Financial Oversight
Monitor labour costs and operational budgets to ensure contract profitability.
Assist with pricing, resource planning and operational strategy for new contracts.
About You
You are an experienced operations professional with a strong background in commercial cleaning or facilities management. To thrive in this role, you will ideally bring:
Demonstrated success in managing multiple sites or contracts, with experience leading and developing operational teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach to operational challenges.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships confidently.
Understanding of operational systems, workflow improvements, reporting tools, and compliance requirements (knowledge of ISO standards highly desirable).
